Tapestries and Wrap Skirts

These large wall tapestries are both painted and embroidered by Amazonian Shipibo women. The cotton is harvested in the Amazon jungle and the dyes used in the tapestries are hand-crafted from nature. Some of the items state both "tapestry" and "wrap skirt". This is based on sizing. The smaller textiles that are rectangular as opposed to square are frequently worn as clothing by the Shipibo women. Due to the handcrafted nature of these tribal artisan goods, items that have more than one available may vary from the photo as each is handcrafted. Colors, feathers and beads may vary from item to item. Feel free to contact The Shaman Shop with questions regarding specific items. No returns/exchanges.
